About The Course

Spend fun Saturday with Master upholsterer Hannah Weston Smith creating your own (30x30cm square) footstool on our beginners one day upholstery course.

A kit will be provided to create the stool including a plywood box frame, sustainable upholstery materials of hessian and coir fibre, and a set of bun feet which have been hand turned in Lincolnshire.

You will be shown step by step the craft and upholstery techniques needed to create their own piece which they will take away with them. Tool used include an upholstery shears, tack hammer and air staple gun.

You will require 1m of fabric to cover the footstool. There will be pieces available purchase on the day from the school store.
