Roman Blind and Soft Furnishings Class

This class is ideal for anyone who wants to make their own soft furnishings for their home.

Whether you want guidance using your own sewing machine to make cushions for your home or want to make fully interlined roman blinds.

The Roman blinds are made using the same methods a professional soft furnisher would to create a blind with no visible machine stitching.

This class allows you to make a full size blind to suit your home rather than a sample*. You can include interlining, black-out lining and integrated side returns.

The course is suitable for absolute beginners as well as those wishing to enhance their current skills – no hand sewing or sewing machine experience is required, sewing machines are available to use, however, you’re also welcome to bring your own sewing machine if you prefer.

Black out lining, sateen lining and interlining are available to purchase at a discounted price. Professional quality tracks can also be purchased.

*larger blinds may require 2 or more classes to complete, depending on the makeup of your individual blind
