About The Course
Join printmaker Bethan Weston Smith on a Relief Print Ramble around the picturesque village of Folkingham.
This day course aims to get you observing, recording and photographing architectural details around the village, as well as its flora and fauna, to gather visual inspiration to bring back to the studio at FCA.
Using the ideas and imagery from our ramble you will create, cut and print a lino print tile that collates aspects of your visit that caught your eye and imagination.
Lino printing is an accessible and effective relief printing technique that is suitable for all abilities. All materials will be provided but you will need to bring with you a phone with a camera. The ramble will not be long or across difficult terrain but, weather dependent, comfortable shoes and waterproofs are recommended.
